The 8 day Ultimate Uganda mountain gorilla and wildlife safari’ is the ultimate safari tour for the enthusiastic naturalist. You travel extensively throughout Uganda’s premier gorilla and wildlife safari destinations; Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park, Bigodi Wetland, Kibale National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Maramagambo Forest and the Katwe-Kikorongo explosion Craters.

Your Uganda mountain gorilla and wildlife safari adventure holidays tour will begin with a driver-guide meeting you at your hotel or residence in Kampala – Uganda's capital. you will drive heading towards Nakasongola district and make your first stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The sanctuary is the only wildlife safari destination in Uganda where rhinos are bred. Besides trekking rhinos at the sanctuary, you will be able to see other wildlife including mammal species and bird species.

After having breakfast, you will head out to Murchison Falls headquarters where you will have a meeting with the wildlife game rangers and then head out for a guided game drive through Uganda's celebrated Murchison Falls National Park. While on the game drive, you will be amazed at sight of wildlife animals.

After having breakfast, you will depart from Murchison Falls National Park very early in the morning and travel to Kibale National Park – Uganda's prime primate tour destination, to have more adventure holidays excursions. Once at Kibale National Park, you will drive to Bigodi Wetland – a jungle swamp renowned for its abundant natural endowments. The swamp has over 138 bird species including; the grand Blue Turaco, White-spotted Flufftail, hairy-breasted barbet, Western Nicator, Black-crowned Waxbill, Black Bishop, Superb Sunbird, Brown-throated Wattle-eye, White-breasted Negro-finch, Grey-winged Robin chat, Brown-crowned Tchagra and Black-and-white Shrike Flycatcher.

You will travel to Kibale National Park headquarters after your breakfast in the early morning. You will have a briefing from the experienced wildlife rangers and then embark on a chimpanzee trekking excursion. Upon concluding your chimpanzee trekking tour in the afternoon, you will travel to Uganda's most popular safari park destination Queen Elizabeth National Park - home to the tree climbing lions.

After breakfast, you drive to the park headquarters where you will have a briefing and then set out for a morning game drive to explore the wildlife in the royal Queen Elizabeth. The most famous game drive trails in the park include; the channel drive circuit and the Kasenyi plains drive. In the afternoon after your lunch, you will set out for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, a 40 km water channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George where you will be able to spot a large number hippos and Nile crocodiles plus a number of water birds.

After an early morning breakfast, you shall drive to the Ishasha Region of the Queen Elizabeth famous for the tree-climbing lions and various wildlife. Upon completing your game drive, you have lunch and head to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You arrive in the evening, have dinner and relax for the next day’s excursion.

After breakfast, the day's Uganda tours safari expeditions will begin when you report at the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking etiquette. The trek involves hiking up and down slippery slopes in dense mist-covered vegetation. After an hour or more of taking photographs and observing the habituated gorillas, their behavioral patterns; how they bond and relate with each other, you will later have an encounter with the native Batwa and Bakiga who will present a cultural performance.

You will have breakfast at 8:00am and then set out on a drive back to Kampala. This will mark the end of your 8 day Ultimate Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari in Uganda.
