You'll be picked up at 8:00 am from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. As you enter the national park, lush forests of acacia and mahogany trees begin to set the mood for what is waiting ahead. The game drive will go on till evening with a small break for a picnic lunch. During the game drive, watch out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons and the blue monkeys. Another spectacle of Lake Manyara National Park is the tree climbing lions, however, spotting them is a game of luck. In the right season, you can see the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos flocking there. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

After breakfast, we will head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we will descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park—with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

You'll spend a full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation then finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

After breakfast at daybreak, you will start early for your outward journey from the Serengeti then back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, leaving behind the beautiful Seronera Valley. As predators are livelier in the cooler hours of the day, you might even see them in action. Lunch will be taken en-route at a designated picnic spot. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 19km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals including a wide variety of birds, hyenas and the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Exiting the crater on a different ascent road, you will drive to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

The final day of your safari will begin as usual by 8:00 am after a luscious breakfast. The destination for today is Arusha to Tarangire National Park where you will have a half-day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest national park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centrepiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. By mid-afternoon, you will branch out and head towards Arusha where you will be dropped off at your preferred location at about 6:00 pm in the evening. You'll have had an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and bid farewell to the hotel staff as you check out and drive to the Arusha Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar, our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

On this day, you can do as many activities as you wish in the Zanzibari area. Enjoy leisure at the beach resort, ride a boat at the Indian Ocean Island, go to Prisons Island, spice tour, do scuba diving and snorkelling. These activities are optional and are available at extra costs. At the end of the day in the beach area, you will return to Karamba Zanzibar for dinner and your overnight stay.

On your last day, enjoy the rest of your stay by relaxing in the pool or in the beach while taking in as much sunshine as you can. In the afternoon, we will take you to the airport for your onward destination.
