Where This Fits in a Uganda Itinerary
Mount Elgon National Park in eastern Uganda is an ancient, eroded volcano with waterfalls, caves and cliffs. Nearby Sipi Falls makes it a popular stop between Jinja and Kidepo or Murchison.
It works well as a half-day activity around Sipi Falls, outside the hottest hours. Whatever you choose, build days around travel time: driving distances between the parks are long, and early starts are normal on a Uganda safari.
