Your driver-guide will pick you from your hotel in the early morning after breakfast. After a briefing on how your birding tours will run, you will set off for your first birding excursion in Mabamba bay wetland, situated on the edge of Lake Victoria - Uganda, on the North-western part of the Entebbe peninsula. Mabamba bay wetland is a habitat to over 260 bird species including the rare Shoebill. Mabamba swamp also has the Blue Swallow, Papyrus Gonolek, Pallied Harrier, and White-winged Warbler – four of the globally threatened bird species.

After breakfast, you will head for Lake Mburo National Park located in Kiruhura district in the Western region of Uganda. You will make your first stop at the equator in Kayebwe to visit the curio shops in the area for you to purchase a souvenir. You will make your next stop at Kaku swamp for a birding tour. You will see bird species like the Pink-backed Pelican, Wattled Lapwing, Grey Heron, Black-headed Gonolek, Spur-winged goose, Purple Swamphen, Black-headed babbler, Scaly-throated honey guide, Hottentot Teals, Whistling Ducks, Red-bellied Paradise, Common Moorhen, Lilac-breasted Roller, and the Grey-crowned crane.

Lake Mburo National Park has over 350 bird species which have been recorded, spread across the park's various birding spots. These birding tour spots include; the swampy valleys of Miriti and Watukiri, the roadsides between the Rwonyo camp and the Jetty, the viewing platforms at the Salt lick in Miriti Valley, and Rubanga forest. The bird species spread across these birding platforms include; Ross's Turaco, White-headed barbet, Bare-faced Go-away bird, Red-shouldered cuckoo-shrike, Yellow-breasted Apalis, Red-headed Lovebird, Black-bellied Bustard, Rufous-bellied Heron, Grey-crowned Crane, Brown-chested Lapwing, Emrald-spotted Wood Dove, Brown Parrot, White-winged Tin and Finfoot, Bateleur, common and Purple Swamphen, and the Green Wood-hoopoe.

You will set out for a birding tour on Lake Mburo. While on the boat cruise along the lake, you will be able to spot a number of bird species most of which will be different from those you saw the previous day. The bird species to see include; the Black Crake, Pelicans, Common Squacco, African Fish Eagle, White and Pink-backed Cormorants and the rare Shoebill Stork. You will have lunch and check out from your lodge after the boat cruise, leaving Lake Mburo National Park and embarking on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park to continue with your birding tours.

You will go out for your birdwatching experience in Uganda’s praised Queen Elizabeth National Park. This outstanding safari – tour destination is lavishly endowed with birding spots. You will be awed by the extensive number of birds in; the Mweya Peninsula, Kasenyi area, Maramagambo Forest, Katwe area, Ishasha sector, Lake Kikorongo and Katunguru bridge area – all alluring platforms for the birding enthusiast.

After having breakfast, you will drive to Maramagambo Forest located in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park for your last birding tour in Uganda's cherished Queen Elizabeth. The bird species you will see in Maramagambo Forest include but are not limited to; the African Finfoot, Little Grebe, Black-headed Batis, Chestnut Wattle-eye, Brubru, Brown Illadopsis, Honeyguide Greenbul, Blue-throated Roller, Croaking Cisticola, Green Crombec, Barbets, Black Cuckoo, Marsha Tchagra, Brown-eared Woodpecker and the sulphur-breasted Bush-shrike.

Kibale National Park is most known as a Uganda tour and safari destination for chimpanzee trekking. Besides harboring the endangered chimpanzees however, Kibale National Park is a great birding tours destination with over 350 bird species including; Nahan's Francolin, Speckled Tinker bird, White-thighed Hornbill, Black-billed Turaco, White-napped Pigeon, Cabanis Greenbul, Grey-throated Tit Flycatcher, Blue-shouldered Robin chat, Purple-headed Stariling, White-collared Olive back, Masked Apalis and the Yellow-spotted barbet.

After your breakfast, you will depart from Kibale National Park and transfer to Uganda's celebrated Murchison Falls National Park for more birding tours. Once at Murchison Falls National Park, you will take a boat cruise across the Nile to the Northern part of the park and begin your birding excursion, sailing towards the delta. The bird species to see include; the African Darter, Yellow-billed stork, Secretary bird, Osprey, Martial Eagle, Spotted thick-knee, Dark Chanting Go-shawk, Denharm's Bastard, Sunbirds, Verocious Bird, Long tailed Nightjar, Malachite Kingfisher, Piapiac, Speckle-fronted weaver, double-toothed barbet, White-rumped seedeater, Saddle-billed Stork, Fawn-breasted Waxbill and Black-faced Waxbill.

You will begin your birding tours with a boat cruise across the Nile delta and later in the day you will sail upstream to the bottom of Murchison Falls. All day you will both sail and drive to discover the bird species in Murchison Falls National Park – a prime Uganda tour and safari destination. You will be thrilled at the sight of birds like; the blue-naped moosebird, Abdim’s stork, Senegal thick-knee, Long-toed Plover, Rock Platincole, Pennant-winged Nightjar, Northern Carmine bee-eater, White-browed Sparrow Weaver, Black-lored Babbler, Sacred Ibis, Vaseline Masked Weaver, Spur-winged Geese, Black-headed Gondola, Spotted Morning Thrush, Bruce’s green pigeon, Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, Chestnut-Crowned Sparrow Weaver and the Bar-breasted Firefinch.

On the last day of your ultimate 10 days birding Uganda safari tour, you will you pack and depart from Murchison Falls National Park to return to Kampala – Uganda's capital. While travelling back, you will stop at Budongo forest and have your last birding excursion. Budongo Forest is a great birding tours destination with over 360 bird species spread across its various birding spots. The bird species to see in Budongo Forest include; the Yellow-footed Flycatcher, Pygmy Crakes, Blue-breasted dwarf Kingfisher, Cameroon Sombre Greenbul, Little Green Sunbird, Olive Green Camaroptera, Black and White Cascade Hornbills, Forest Robins, Cassin’s Hawk eagle, Jameson’s Wattle-eye, Little Green Sunbird, Crowned Eagle and the Chestnut-capped Flycatcher.
