The Big Five are the lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo and rhinoceros. The term comes from the difficulty of hunting them and today describes the most sought-after animals on safari. In Uganda, lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo live in the savannah parks; rhinos are seen at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
