Night Drives and Night Walks in Uganda: What You Can See After Dark
See the side of the bush most visitors miss: bushbabies, nightjars and, with luck, hunting cats.
After dark, a different set of animals appears. Night drives and night walks are offered in some parks and lodges, led by trained guides with spotlights. Nocturnal species such as bushbabies, genets, civets and owls become easier to see. With luck, you might spot predators on the hunt.
Availability depends on the park and operator, so ask in advance.
