Antelopes of Uganda: Uganda Kob, Topi, Roan, Eland, Waterbuck and More

The Uganda kob is the national emblem animal; topi, roan and eland are other highlights.

Uganda has many antelope species. The Uganda kob is the national symbol and common in Queen Elizabeth and Murchison; the topi is found in Ishasha; the roan antelope is a Kidepo highlight; and eland and impala are most easily seen at Lake Mburo, the only park with impala.

Other antelopes include waterbuck, bushbuck, oribi, reedbuck and duikers. See Lake Mburo, Kidepo and animals of Uganda.
