Uganda Coffee Tours: From Bean to Cup
Uganda grows both Arabica and Robusta, and farm visits show the whole process.
Coffee is a major crop in Uganda. Arabica grows in the highlands around Mount Elgon and Sipi, and Robusta is widely grown in central and western regions. Coffee tours at smallholder farms show how beans are picked, processed, dried, roasted and ground, followed by tasting.
The tours are hands-on and a good way to meet local farmers.
