Itinerary
Leave Kampala for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
At 7:00am in the morning, a professional driver – guide will pick you from whichever location you deem convenient in Kampala. After a briefing on how your 3 days gorilla tours excursion will go, you will embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, situated in South-western Uganda.
Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Forest Community
After breakfast, your day’s gorilla trekking tours excursion will begin when you report at the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla tracking etiquette. It is after this meeting that you will transfer to the Impenetrable forest with your picnic lunchbox to commence a 30 minutes – 8 hours hike in quest for the prized mountain gorillas.
Return to Kampala
On the last day of your gorilla safari tour in Bwindi, you will have breakfast and then embark on a guided nature/birding walk in the forest before embarking on a drive back to Kampala – Uganda’s capital.
