Day by day

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival and transfer to Akagera

You will be picked frup om Kigali Airport on arrival or at your hotel in Kigali and start off with a drive to Akagera National Park with great views of the countryside and people. The journey will take you at most 3 hours for the feel of African Savannah. On arrival you will do an afternoon game drive which will enrich you with wild animals like Giraffes, Buffaloes, Spotted Hyenas, Elephants, Crocodiles, Hippos and plenty of bird life.

Day 2

Game drive & Boat Safari Akagera

Have breakfast and then go for a game drive where you may spot various wild animals. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema. You might spot various water animals like the hippos and crocodiles.

Day 3

Drive to Kigali

Have breakfast and drive to Kigali, go for a city tour, visit the museum, the genocide memorial, site and other cultural sites. Later transfer to the airport for departure.
